Please see below for dates and details of August's Reminiscence screenings of Broadway musical 42ND STREET which will be tap-dancing its way across London, plus Greenwich Picturehouse's Classic Matinee season continues with DARK VICTORY on the August Bank Holiday Monday.

Celebrate the golden days of cinema at a Reminiscence screening near you!

Reminiscence screenings are regular movie showings for anyone who enjoys a bit of cinematic nostalgia - film lovers young and old are treated to a slice of film history and a complimentary cup of tea or coffee.

Come along to your local Picturehouse Cinema to watch:

42ND STREET

Dir. Lloyd Bacon | USA 1933 | 89 min | Cert U

The classic film about staging a do-or-die Broadway musical. Complete with an egomaniacal but hugely talented Producer, dazzlingly choreographed music-and-dance numbers and a last-minute leading lady replacement (an unknown of course), 42nd STREET remains an entertaining, frantically paced musical comedy.

With star turns from both Warner Baxter as Producer Julian Marsh and Ruby Keeler as the new star rising, Peggy Sawyer, 42nd STREET set the standard for excellence in filmmaking, a standard that still shines bright today.
