NHS Lambeth CCG public involvement

NHS Lambeth CCG public involvement mailout

Dear All – we’d like to let you know about two opportunities to get involved.  Please pass on through your networks.

1)      The Health and Wellbeing Strategy for Lambeth:NHS organisations and the Council work together to promote health and wellbeing in Lambeth through the Lambeth health and Wellbeing Strategy.  The Council and partners are holding an event on 25 June to refresh the Strategy – is it still focusing on the right issues? What are the best ways to improve health and wellbeing in Lambeth?  Please have a look at the attached leaflet and come along to an event at the Town Hall any time from 2-7pm.   For further information contact 020 7926 6397

2)      The NHS 111 Service:111 is the NHS non-emergency number. It’s staffed by advisers who ask you a series of questions to assess your symptoms and immediately direct you to the best medical care for you.  NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones.  NHS 111 is for people who urgently need medical help but when it's not a life-threatening situation.  The service is currently provided across South-East London by the London Ambulance Service under a contract with healthcare commissioners.  The contract is coming to an end and so clinical commissioning groups need to review the contract and seek a provider for the 111 Service.   See more below

NHS 111 survey - have your say!

Have you, or someone you know, used the NHS 111 service? If so, we need your help.

Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) across South East London are planning to reprocure NHS 111 services in 2015 as the contracts are coming to an end.

We’re keen to improve the NHS 111 service and have been working with patients in Lambeth to discover what works well, and what could work better. Patient feedback will help us to improve the service and your feedback could directly influence the details in the NHS 111 contract.

Earlier this year, we held a patient workshop for patient representatives from across South East London who told us what they thought of the service and how it could improve. Now we’re promoting a survey for patients via our website, social media and the media, as well as via patient focus groups. Many thanks if you’ve already filled in the survey or attended the workshop.

The deadline for this survey is 14 June 2015 and we’re keen to get responses from as many people as possible.

You can find the survey online at    https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/111SELondon

Please tell your friends, family and neighbours about this survey as we’d like as many people as possible to tell us their views.
