New consultation on discretionary freedom passes

What Lambeth Council are consulting on now

The council have developed  draft eligibility criteria for the discretionary Freedom Pass which they have begun consultation on to find out what people think about this suggested criteria.

Please note that no decisions have been made yet. Lambeth Council's Cabinet will meet on 6 February 2012 to decide which savings proposals are to go ahead. They will see a report back from this consultation to assist them in making a decision. Therefore, discretionary Freedom Pass holders may continue to use their discretionary Freedom Pass in the usual way during the consultation process. If the proposals in the eligibility criteria are accepted by Cabinet the council will be reviewing all discretionary Freedom Pass holders.

How can you get involved in the consultation

1. You can attend a consultation event
They are holding two public consultation meetings during November and December 2011. There is no need to book - just turn up on the day. Refreshments will be available. If you have any particular communication or access requirements, please call in advance on 0800 013 1497.

2. You can complete a consultation feedback form
