ITALIAN SINGING FOR THE BRAIN
Every Tuesday at SCALABRINI CENTRE CHURCH HALL, DOWNSTAIRS, 20, Brixton Rd SW9 6BU.
Map and directions: www.scalabrinilondon.co.uk
Starts: 11 November 2014
Singing for the brain is hugely beneficial and can create a sense of wellbeing for people with dementia, the current scheme being run is only sung in English, which defeats the object for many people who only speak in their native tongue. Additionally, this is a great opportunity to engage in an activity to encourage connection and stimulation for people living with Dementia and their carers.
We hope to create a warm and friendly atmosphere and may include other activities in the future. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
Please note‐ This has been created with the help of the Scalabrini brother’s for the local community. Everyone with Dementia must be accompanied by their cares or loved ones.
