Equality in health in Lambeth: the BIG Lambeth Health Debate continues

There are have two new opportunities for you to get involved with NHS Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group – the focus is EQUALITIES

1)      Come to the stakeholder event and give your views

NHS Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Group plans and pays for the majority of health services for Lambeth people.  They want to promote equality and get rid of discrimination in health and health services.  They want people have fair access to services on the basis of health needs.

They have set goals to improve equalities in health priority areas for Lambeth. These include: mental health, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, childhood obesity, smoking, alcohol, HIV and sexual health.

There is an event for people in Lambeth. Patients, carers, patient groups, voluntary and community organisations, local residents and stakeholders are welcome.

You are invited to come and hear about the progress made so far.
