Did you know about the latest Age UK London Opinion Exchange Update?

The Age UK London Opinion Exchange is a new website from Age UK London. It is part of the organisation’s ‘Fit 4 Purpose’ project, which is funded by London Councils.

The Opinion Exchange features opinion pieces and discussion forums to trigger debate and ensure older people’s organisations are able to respond to the changing needs of their users.

The Opinion Exchange has seen several fantastic articles go online in the last month. So far there have been five new opinions with contributions from Robert Edmonds, Kathrin Meyrick, Angela Murphy, Sarah Best, Lynn Strother and Gordon Deuchars.

The articles include:

What Matters Most to Older People: National Voices have been commissioned by the NHS to ask older people what matters most to them.

Blue Badge Renewal: Kathrin Meyrick tells us about her experience renewing a ‘blue badge’ online.

Defibrillators: Over 10,000 people in London suffer out of hospital cardiac arrests every year and we look at how defibrillators can help them.

Welfare Benefits Changes: Positive Ageing in London is researching the impact of changes to older people in London.

You can read and comment on any of these articles, and many more, at www.ageuklondonopinionexchange.org.uk
