Blind Veterans UK

Blind Veterans UK provides vital services and support to ex-Service men and women who are now battling severe sight loss. Blind Veterans UK knows that when someone loses their sight, it affects them and their loved ones and that’s why we’re here to support the whole family.

Blind Veterans UK supports Armed Forces and National Service veterans, their families and carers by providing the support to enable independent living. The charity provides veterans with the confidence and skills to live with their sight loss through training, rehabilitation, social events and holidays and respite care at its centres.

The charity’s No One Alone campaign is reaching out to the tens of thousands of ex-Service men and women who are now battling severe sight loss and who could be eligible for support but do not currently realise it. Regardless of how a veteran lost their sight or when they served, Blind Veterans UK can help. If you are a vision impaired ex-Service man or woman, or care for someone who is, find out more at: www.noonealone.org.uk or telephone: 0800 389 7979.
