Volunteer with the Hub
Volunteers already play an important part in supporting the work of the organisations which provide the Hub’s services. We are creating positive opportunities for carers and former carers to work with us as volunteers to meet and help other carers and learn new skills.
We provide full training and support and a friendly working environment.
A variety of volunteer roles are available including :
- Becoming a peer advocate
- Keeping in touch with isolated carers through the Telephone Check-in service
- Working on the Carers’ Enquiry Line
- Helping to write and publish our newsletter
- Helping to plan and organise Carers’ Forums
